Dairy Processors
With more than 450 dairy processors in Canada and counting, this significant segment of our nation’s food and beverage industry is full of opportunity. In fact, dairy products represent 15 percent of all products shipped within the Canadian food and beverage industry. This robust industry employs over 20,000 people and generates over $14 billion in annual sales.
Yet the dairy industry also brings many unique considerations. From a strict and ever-evolving regulatory regime to dietary trends to global producers infiltrating Canada’s dairy market — only dairy processors with a clear vision and streamlined operations will truly prosper within this rewarding yet potentially challenging sector.
