Sarah J. Veinot, CPA, CA, is a Partner and Business Advisor with MNP’s Assurance and Accounting group in Dartmouth. Sarah has more than 20 years of experience working with businesses at all stages of the business lifecycle, from start-up through growth and transition to the next generation.

A trusted advisor, Sarah makes a point of being available whenever her clients have a problem or opportunity. She helps owner-managers, professionals and not-for-profit organizations identify potential options and weigh the pros and cons of each so they can make strong business decisions. Always respectful, Sarah is not afraid to have difficult conversations when it is in her clients’ best interests to do so.

Sarah’s services include audits, reviews and compilations, owner-manager compensation and tax planning, implementation of board governance and improvement of internal controls and financial reporting processes. She also assists with acquisitions and the sale of businesses and reviews business opportunities, such as large capital projects.

In 1991, Sarah received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University, where she graduated Cum Laude. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1993. Sarah is currently a board member for the IWK Health Centre Foundation, Suburban FC, the Accounting Education Foundation Nova Scotia and Phoenix Youth Programs. She is also a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Nova Scotia’s Practice Inspection Committee.
